Purity of Intent is choosing a primary broadcast and cutting the rest. It’s wanting something simply because it’s aligned — not because it earns approval, patches insecurity, or keeps you from falling behind.
Signs of a Pure Broadcast:
You’d still want it if no one ever knew.
You don’t need it to repair self-worth.
Imagining it tomorrow feels like joy, not relief.
Signs of Contamination:
The goal feels heavy, like a test.
You care more about how it looks than how it feels.
Relief outweighs excitement — like dodging failure, not stepping into expansion.
The Brutal “Why” Audit — Write your goal. List every reason. Mark with P (primary, intrinsic) or S (static, external). Keep the P’s. Remove or rewrite the S’s.
The Tomorrow Test — If it arrived tomorrow, would it feel like joy or complicated relief?
The Nobody’s Watching Reframe — If no one would ever know you achieved it, would you still want it?
Replace the Static — Rewrite S-reasons into P-reasons. Example: “So my parents are proud” → “Because I light up when I’m doing this work.”
The Hidden Performer: Purity high, but hidden “prove myself” motives distort. → Solution: Nobody’s Watching Reframe.
The Approval Addict: Broadcast shifts based on audience. → Solution: Commit to one private project for 30 days.
The Quietly Aligned: Strong purity, but high external noise. → Solution: Protect boundaries, cut inputs, lower noise.
Morning & Night Check: Ask “What am I broadcasting today?”
Static Removal: Cross out one S-reason daily.
Primary Strengthening: Rewrite or amplify one P-reason daily.
By week’s end, your channel will be cleaner, steadier, harder to disrupt.
Confusion drops — there’s one clear message going out.
Procrastination fades — alignment pulls you forward.
Opportunities “appear out of nowhere” — not magic, just reception improving.
