About Us

Most companies that give back can stop whenever they want.

We wrote ours so we can’t.

One hundred percent of Mom Bomb’s residual net profits are permanently directed to Mom Bomb Cares, a 501(c)(3) that helps moms in crisis. Not a pledge. Not a percentage that gets revisited when a quarter goes badly. It is written into the company’s charter — and it was written in before we took a dollar of outside money.

Our Story

Heather Roberts, founder of Mom Bomb

In 2017, Heather Roberts was recovering from an illness that had taken apart her ability to manage daily life and motherhood at the same time. She has six kids. There was no version of that season where she got to opt out of being needed.

What she had was the bath. Twenty minutes behind a closed door, in warm water, not being available to anyone.

She started Mom Bomb because she knew she was not the only woman who needed that — and because she knew some moms needed far more than a bath. They needed groceries. They needed the laundry done. They needed someone to cover childcare before everything came apart.

So she built a bath company designed to fund exactly that.

Why Mom Bomb

Why It’s Built This Way

Plenty of mission-driven brands have been acquired, and the mission has quietly gone with them. It is a familiar story: the giving becomes a marketing line, then a smaller line, then nothing.

Mom Bomb is structured so that cannot happen here.

The commitment to direct one hundred percent of residual net profits to the nonprofit is an irrevocable covenant in the operating company’s charter. It was put in place before any outside capital came in — which is the part that matters, because it means no future investor, board, or buyer is agreeing to it after the fact. They are buying into a company that already cannot be separated from its purpose.

Heather does not receive residual profit from the company she founded. That was the point.

Our Mission to Give

A mother holding her child

Through Mom Bomb Cares, we provide $500 in direct financial relief by paying essential bills on behalf of moms in crisis. Payments go straight to the service provider, so help arrives fast and lands where it is supposed to.

Grants cover:

  • Meal delivery, so dinner is not one more thing
  • Housekeeping and laundry during the weeks that get away from her
  • Reliable childcare
  • Transportation to medical appointments and other essentials

Job loss. Domestic violence. A sudden emergency. The grants are built to steady a family at the moment steadying it actually matters.
