Why Mom Bomb

We make bath products for the moments when you need a minute — and we give the profits away.

That is the whole idea. A generous bag of bath salt, a scent you actually look forward to, twenty minutes with the door closed. And a company structured so that the money it makes ends up helping another family get through a very hard week.

What is actually in the bag

Our 3 lb soaks start with a mineral salt base — Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate), sea salt, and sodium chloride — blended with natural clay, which is what turns the water silky. Scent comes from disclosed essential oils, listed by name on every product page.

What is not in the bag: synthetic dyes, artificial fragrance, parabens, phthalates. Color comes from mineral mica and iron oxides. Made in the USA in small batches.

Why we disclose every oil

On a label, “fragrance” or “parfum” can stand in for a blend the manufacturer does not have to itemize. We use essential oils and name them, so you can read the list and know exactly what you are putting in the water. If a particular oil does not agree with you, you will be able to tell before you buy.

Why a 3 lb bag

Most bath salts come in one- or two-pound sizes, which means measuring carefully and running out. Three pounds is roughly twelve baths. It sits by the tub, you use a generous scoop, and you stop treating the bath like a special occasion.

Gifts for the woman who buys nothing for herself

She probably has a candle. She may have a mug that says Mama. What she does not have is twenty uninterrupted minutes. Our soaks, bath bombs, and sets are built for birthdays, hard weeks, new moms, and friends who are going through it — and every one of them carries the mission with it.

Where the money goes

One hundred percent of Mom Bomb’s residual net profits are permanently directed to Mom Bomb Cares, a 501(c)(3) that helps families in crisis with practical support — meals, housekeeping, laundry, childcare, and transportation.

Not encouragement. Not awareness. Groceries and a babysitter, paid directly to the provider.

This is written into how the company is built, not into a marketing campaign. It does not change when the quarter is hard.

Run the bath. Take the twenty minutes. Somebody else gets helped in the process.
