Living Between Two Worlds

What it really feels like to build a brand in 2025.

This week, I posted a reply on Twitter that took off—thousands of views, shares, comments. All from a single line I wrote about what it means to become who you are before the world believes you:

“This is quantum mechanics. By becoming what you want to be, even before the evidence shows up, and you do that long enough—reality catches up with your vision.”

It struck a chord.
But just minutes later?

I was on the phone with a banker discussing freight costs and margin compression.

That’s when it hit me—again:
I’m living between two worlds.

The Signal vs. The System

One world speaks in energy, emotion, resonance.
The other speaks in data, profitability, structure.

• One rewards clarity of feeling.

• The other demands clarity of math.

And if you’re a founder, you’ve likely felt the split.
Because we’re not just selling products anymore.
We’re managing ecosystems of meaning—while also running companies.

At Mom Bomb, that balance is our entire model.

We talk about impact and inventory.

And yes—it’s exhausting.

Modern Entrepreneurship Is Nonlinear

You’re expected to be everywhere:

• On social, telling the story.

• In meetings, closing the deal.

• In spreadsheets, proving the math.

• In the warehouse, fixing the shipment.

• On camera, holding the vision.

No one trained us for this.
But this is the new normal—especially if you're building something that actually matters.

Here's What We’re Learning

If you want to build a brand that breaks through in 2025 and beyond, you need to:

• Speak both languages: human and operational.

• Feel the market and forecast it.

• Stay soft enough to care—and structured enough to scale.

We call this dual fluency.

We’re not just building a company.
We’re building a system that restores people—at work, at home, and in the world.
